Environmental NGO World Café: Celebrating local heroes and fostering collaboration

The Iri Center and the Faculty of Economics in Split recently hosted the Environmental NGO World Café, a thematic meetup designed to bring together key stakeholders and spark meaningful collaboration between public organizations and NGOs.

This dynamic event, themed Creative dialogue, networking & collaboration, centered on showcasing the inspiring work of local community heroes. Before a packed audience, six panelists shared their remarkable initiatives, exchanging experiences and ideas aimed at driving positive change.

The panel was a tribute to the individuals whose dedication to their communities is both impressive and vital. The event not only highlighted their efforts but also reinforced the importance of visibility and recognition for grassroots projects. Joško Grgin – LoveStock Festival

Joško Grgin, the organizer of the LoveStock Festival, spoke passionately about love as his guiding force in life and work. For the past six years, this praiseworthy festival has transformed Kaštela into a city of love, contributing significantly to the city’s cultural branding and fostering creative engagement. LoveStock’s diverse program includes Children’s LoveStock, a Vinyl Fair, dance, music, and art workshops, concerts, tours of Kaštela’s landmarks, and much more.
